Christ has died once for all.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5 verse 8

Jesus died for our sins, whilst we were still sinners. It has happened. He did not wait for us to repent. Therefore, he has also died for your future sins. He is not repeatedly dying each time you repent. Died is a word in the past tense.

Romans 6 verse 10

Jesus has died. Your sin has been paid for. “Once for all”. Sure, talk to God about your sin, but do so in the knowledge that he is not dying again and again for your sin. That has been done.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8 verse 1

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

John 3 verse 17

There is not continued condemnation for those who believe in Jesus because he has saved us.

…so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Hebrews 9 verse 28

And this is our hope for the future. Because Christ dealt with sin the first time he walked on earth, the next time he comes will be to save those believers who are waiting for him.
